Questions and answers
How many photos does it need, and does anyone have to install an app?
Photos are required for this format — you cannot finish the film without at least one. Four of them appear: two pegged to a line in the “us” frame and two as film frames in the closing one. Each takes a caption of up to 80 characters. Whoever you send it to opens a browser link on a phone or laptop; there is no app and no account.
What do we actually write, and how much of the story is ours?
The narration of the six frames comes with the format, so there is no blank page: the meeting frame reads “We met by chance — and never parted. The coffee went cold that day; the conversation still hasn’t”, the “us” frame talks about a thousand walks and two cities, and frame five announces “We’re getting married!”. What is yours is the closing message of up to 600 characters, the photos, a caption under each of them, and the question you end on.
How do they answer, and where does the reply go?
The last frame is the details card — both names, the date, the countdown and the venue you gave — followed by your question. The built-in one is “Will you join us?” with three answers: we’ll be there, let us think, can’t make it. You can replace it with your own questions before sending. The answer comes back to you as a reply on your Giftable. Building and previewing the film is free; sending one Giftable costs €3, three cost €5 and ten cost €10.
Is a link less formal than a printed invitation?
It is a different object rather than a cheaper one. Paper is looked at once; this opens with an envelope your guest unties, runs six frames of your photos and comes back with their answer, which paper cannot do. Plenty of couples send this to the people who know them and still put paper on the tables. You share the link yourself — WhatsApp, SMS, email — so nothing is posted anywhere public.
Is this a wedding website with a guest list and a registry?
No. It is one page with one story, meant to sit next to your invitation rather than replace a planning site. There is no guest list, no seating chart, no registry and no automatic mail-out: you send the link to as many people as you like and their answers come back to you one by one. The frame captions and the announcement headline are fixed by the format — what you set is the names, the message, the date, the venue, the photos and the closing question.
