How many photos fit inside the locket?
Exactly one. A locket has one aperture, so the format asks for a single photograph and shows it under a slightly curved glass, cropped to the oval frame. If you have a dozen frames to show, this is the wrong keepsake — the memory wall and the prism of memories carry several. Nothing is installed on either side: you send a link and it opens in the browser already on their phone.
How long can the engraved line be?
Forty characters. It is engraved on the inside of the lid, opposite the photograph, and it is deliberately short — a date, two names, four words. Everything longer belongs in the folded note that hangs on the chain, which takes the full message. Leave the engraving empty and the recipient’s name is engraved instead.
How do I know it was opened, and what does it cost?
The locket ends with a question. Keep the built-in one — three warm answers to choose from — or write your own in the questions step: one choice, several at once, or a few lines of free text. Their answer is saved and sent to you as a reply to your Giftable. Building and previewing are free; one Giftable costs €3, three cost €5 and ten cost €10.
