Do I need photos, and can I write what is behind each door?
Photos are optional. Add up to twelve and they are spread evenly across the doors, with the last photo behind the final door and the whole set pinned on a string above the calendar. Without them the calendar shows its own winter scenes. The notes behind the doors come written for the occasion you picked, so what you personalize is the two names, the opening message, the start date and the photos.
How do I send it, and how does their answer reach me?
Fill in the names, the message and the start date, then preview the whole calendar for free with every lock open. Sending one Giftable costs €3, with packs of 3 for €5 and 10 for €10. When do the doors actually open?
The first door opens on the start date you set, then one door a day, in order: an early door says it opens on its own date, and once the day’s door is read the page asks them to come back tomorrow. A calendar has 24 doors by default and 10 when the occasion is a birthday. Progress is kept in the browser they open it in, so another phone starts over, and a reset button closes every door again.
