Questions and answers
How do other people add their page — do they need an account?
Nobody signs up for anything. After you send the book you get a second link, the contributor link, and that is the one you pass around the group: it opens the same book on a short form — a name and up to 280 characters — and a tap adds the page. It works in whatever browser is already on their phone, with no app on either side. A page is words only for now: contributors cannot attach a photo, and one book holds up to 30 pages, which is the ceiling on replies for any Giftable.
What stops something unkind from reaching the person it is for?
You do, and nothing else. Every page arrives hidden: it lands in your Giftable dashboard marked as waiting, and until you tap "Add to the book" the recipient never sees it — the book fetches only the pages you approved. You can hide an approved page again at any moment, before or after the recipient has opened the book, and there is no window in which an unapproved page is briefly visible. This is why the two links are different: the one you give the recipient never shows the form.
How do the answers get back to me, and what does it cost?
The book ends with a question. Keep the built-in one — three short replies for the moment the last page turns — or write your own in the questions step: one choice, several at once, or a few lines of free text. Whoever opens your book answers into the same Giftable, so the answers reach your dashboard alongside the pages, and the final screen also offers to send the same line to you on WhatsApp or Telegram. Building the book, collecting pages and previewing all of it costs nothing; sending one Giftable is €3, three are €5 and ten are €10.
